I was so tired last night, that I forgot to set this to post early this morning! Oops! Well at any rate, here's today's Talkabout Thursday question..
Do you collect anything? If so, what? Is it a big collection?
I collect ... stuffed lobsters! Altogether I have about 20 of them; most of them are smaller (the size of your hand) but I have a few bigger ones, and one -really- big one that sits on the arm of our armchair. :) I have a much smaller collection of 'maneki-neko' (the Japanese lucky cat with one paw in the air), and only have three of those.
Leave your Talkabout in a comment, and happy almost-weekend!! :)

The hubs and I collect magnets and shot glasses from places we've been. We have a good collection of each but we definitely don't use the shot glasses as much as I thought we would, lol.
Key Chains and Shot glasses :) The bf always makes fun of how heavy my keys are lol and shot glasses I have about 20 from places friends trips and my own. Some cool ones are Paris, Chicago, and Hawaii.
Do books count?
i have a collection of foreign money and bookmarks and posters. the foreign money i still collect whenever some comes into my possession. the books marks and posters not so much anymore but i still like them. if i see any that i really like then i might buy them. i also sort of collect key chains. i have quite a few and still buy more when i see one i like.
I would say I collect dvd box sets but it's more like an OCD. If I get season 1 of a show then I MUST buy all the other seasons, not that good for the wallet :(
Btw, love the new design.
That's a cute maneki-neko.
I collect girly stuff. Shoes and bags. Oh, and accessories.
Do they count?
Teehee.
I have a collection of paperclips. Who knows how many hundreds of them I have!
I also collect the I Love Lucy dolls by Mattel.
I love those cats. I never knew what they were called before now :)
When did you start collecting lobsters? Is there a meaning behind it?
I used to collect honeybees because my name in Greek means honeybee. I had a bunch of cute, stuffed, or pretty metal frames, and black and yellow beaded until my daughter was born. All the cute frivolty then became a casualty of her childhood. I will, however, always implant a little bee in at least one room of our home as a commemoration.
